Summer Reading Challenge 2013 is here! To participate, Lubbock ISD students, faculty and staff will complete a reading log of books read over the summer. Mrs. Betty Burgoon was selected to receive the 2013 Newtion Excellence in Education Award.  In recognition of Mrs. Burgoon's commitment to excellence in education and her superior dedication to inspire a spirit of learning in students, the Beaumont Foundation is hosting an awards gala in her honor on Wednesday, May 8, 2013.  Congratulations Mrs. Burgoon!
